Height vs.Shoe Size vs.Hair Lenght Scatter Plots

Above is the data we collected about our shoe sizes vs our heights. Can you see a relationship? Is there a correlation? If so, is it positive or negative? Does shoe size cause height to change? Does height cause shoe size to change? Does correlation imply causality?

What I see in the graphs is like a pattern. There is a correlation in this graph and what i see is that for example, depending on the height thats what shoe size youll get. What im seeing in this graph is a relationship that guys tend to be taller and for that they have bigger feet. Girls tend to be short and have smaller feet. Correlation doesnt imply causality i think is just apart of life and human nature i think thats how men and woman were meant to be.




What can we see from this scatter plot of hair length vs. height? Is there a correlation? If so, is it positive or negative; strong or weak? What information about the students in our class does this graph give you?

What i see in this graph is complete different data from the other chart.What i see is that shorter people like girls tend to have longer hair, and taller people like boys tend to have shorter hair. This correlation is strong because we see alot of the boys in school with short hair and a few with kind of long hair. The majority of the girls have long hair so this chart shows how the girls and boys differ from each other.

Assignment 1

This is my first blog and im exited!! I have some experience with myspace and such things like that but i have never done a blog so im looking forward on working on it. Its seems crazy how i have never even tried to make a blog but theres always a first time to everything. i know that with a blog i can interact with students and get feedback on my work so that i think is good idea because it will make a better writer as in student. Blogging will become usefull to me because other students from my class can check my work and write comments on my mistakes which will make my writting better. i can go to other students blogs and ask them for help as well as my teacher. Im expecting to learn alot with you Mr. Cantor and preparing me for college so i can go to this world prepared knowing what im supposed to expect in life.I hope to be a good student in your class but i hope this course is not that hard. I hope to get alot out of this class and maybe get me interested enough to major in psychology.well back to the blogging i hope this will help me out alot and be usefull for the future. So far i like blogging it seems fun and a proffesional way of keeping in touch with friends and work. well Mr.Cantor this is all for today is not the best blog but i guess i tried.
